Also include surveys, 1811, of land in Madison and Orange counties, Va., belonging to Catlett Conway; account book, 1841-1870, of John F. Conway, with entries for the purchase and sale of household goods, sundries, and farm equipment, slave hires, and a detailed list of slaves bought, sold, born, died, and inherited, covering the period from 1776-1864. Also include genealogy, 1904, of the Conway family, compiled by Edward C. Mead; French verb conjugations, n.d.; plats, n.d., of lands belonging to the Conway family; and plat, n.d., of lands belonging to the Taliaferro family, including land belonging to John Taliaferro.
